Carolina Inks, Limited was started in March of 1984 by the president of Coates Brothers U. S. Operations and Venture Capital. In December of 1986, a new partner took over the Venture Capital portion of the company and eventually acquired 100% ownership.

One of the keys to Carolina Inks, Limited's success continues to be our attitude toward service and our commitment to producing a quality product. We believe service is not just filling the customers order, but understanding their special needs, pressroom variables and then formulating cost-effective, quality products to meet those needs and resolve pressroom issues.
